The supporters of The Dons booed when Kvissleby RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Kruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. When The Dons's Per-Arne Stensson in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Hellsing got free with Daniel Backlund in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hubert Hult charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hubert Hult the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kvissleby RK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hubert Hult hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Nils Hellsing fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Daniel Backlund, passed just outside the right post. 41 minutes into the match, Kvissleby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Björnsson came free, but George Tönnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Bröms in the 42nd minute of play forced Kvissleby RK's goalkeeper George Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, The Dons's Daniel Backlund got control of the ball when Nils Hellsing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Backlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Hult, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Nils Hellsing came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Kvissleby RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Hellsing couldn't finish the play. George Tönnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Björnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Peter Kämpe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Tönnberg, 1-2. The The Dons players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
