George Tönnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Hellbom in the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Tord Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Tönnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Karlssons fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Låsberg to maneuver through the defense. Greger Ahlquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiktor Åkerström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greger Ahlquist ran back to his position shaking his head. Wiktor Åkerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Ahlquist in the 22nd minute of the match. When Johannes Persson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karlssons fotboll's protests and gave Johannes Persson a yellow card for diving instead. Johannes Persson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greger Ahlquist in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Åkerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Kvissleby RK booed when Karlssons fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Låsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Kvissleby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Larsson came free, but George Tönnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tord Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Tönnberg having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Karlssons fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Hellbom to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Greger Ahlquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wiktor Åkerström was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Greger Ahlquist was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Hubert Hult managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvissleby RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Hult was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Dahlbom made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nils Hellsing immediately put the ball in play. In the last second Wiktor Åkerström throw himself and got hold of the ball when Greger Ahlquist in the 56thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The long shot by Ronny Björklund in the 59th minute really tested Wiktor Åkerström's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Ödman during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karlssons fotboll getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tom Ödman hit a great ball. Henry Glad hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tord Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wiktor Åkerström came out of the goal and Hubert Hult tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Dick Larsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Tönnberg was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When Tord Hellbom came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Karlssons fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Hellbom couldn't finish the play. If Tord Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olov Hägg kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Chants of Kvissleby RK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Karlssons fotboll had held the ball for most of the match.
