The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Österberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Karlssons fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Österberg came free, but Wiktor Åkerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Österberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Åkerström having to interfere. Kristoffer Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Törnqvist hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Wiktor Åkerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Österberg in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tord Hellbom in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olof Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mjällom IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lukas Enström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Andersson in the 35th minute of play forced Karlssons fotboll's goalkeeper Wiktor Åkerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristoffer Andersson in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Åkerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Karlssons fotboll's zone, Kristoffer Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Åkerström came out of the goal and Kristoffer Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tord Hellbom to strike the kick off in the second half. Olof Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Glad, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Tord Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Holmgren having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Tord Hellbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Olof Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wiktor Åkerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Andersson in the 78th minute of play. Emanuel Österberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wiktor Åkerström firmly grabbed it by the left post. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Henry Glad got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Kristoffer Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Åkerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlssons fotboll's Wiktor Åkerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Andersson in the 91st minute of play. Olof Holmgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tord Hellbom's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Lukas Enström hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Karlssons fotboll were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mjällom IF for a fine match.
