George Tönnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Kvissleby RK's Greger Ahlquist in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gällivare's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gällivare's Esbjörn Karlsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Tönnberg. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Karlsson in the 13th minute of play forced Kvissleby RK's goalkeeper George Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Tönnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Karlsson in the 15th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Esbjörn Karlsson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for George Tönnberg to make any attempt to save it. George Tönnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Greger Ahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kvissleby RK's Nils Hellsing got a free kick in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Hubert Hult notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Gällivare's Stig Jonasson. Stig Jonasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute Greger Ahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Jon Hydén scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Tönnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nils Hellsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Jonasson having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Gällivare got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Thorsberg. 67 minutes into the match, Kvissleby RK's Greger Ahlquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Jonasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stig Jonasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Hellsing went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. If Nils Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Gällivare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Hydén to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Gällivare's Stig Jonasson got control of the ball when Greger Ahlquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kjell Thorsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Thorsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils Hellsing came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stig Jonasson could save by the left post. Nils Hellsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Jonasson having to interfere. Hubert Hult might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Jonasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Hult ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Kellbom in the 95th minute of play forced Kvissleby RK's goalkeeper George Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Hubert Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
