Spectators: 7329 (Terracing: 5498, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anders Eliasson made the kick off which started today's match. When Douglas Klintæus came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Örby IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Klintæus couldn't finish the play. Rudolf Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Gernberg in the 15th minute of play. If Nicklas Gernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Klintæus might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudolf Haström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Klintæus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, Nicklas Gernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas Klintæus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rudolf Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicklas Gernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Haström having to interfere. Rudolf Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Gernberg in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alvar Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot. No Talent's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Malm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Kihlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicklas Gernberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicklas Gernberg struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rudolf Haström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örby IK. 59 minutes into the game, Nicklas Gernberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rudolf Haström. Nicklas Gernberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Douglas Klintæus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rudolf Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Örby IK's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Kihlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Örby IK's Kennet Hägg got a free kick in the 73rd minute. No Talent's Rudolf Haström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save No Talent from getting a goal against them. Nicklas Gernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rudolf Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Haström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Klintæus in the 83rd minute. Anders Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Kihlberg having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Örby IK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Eklund. Rudolf Haström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Klintæus in the 95th minute. Örby IK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
