After having played for 14 minutes, Andy Schmid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peab Korpen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Schmid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Tobias Wickander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jan-Olof Wester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peab Korpen's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Wester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Lundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Jönköping FK's zone, Jan-Olof Wester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Lundberg came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Wester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andy Schmid received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomas Lundberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Andy Schmid slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. When Jan-Olof Wester came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Peab Korpen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Wester couldn't finish the play. Andy Schmid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tomas Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jönköping FK's Tomas Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Wester in the 72nd minute of play. Jens-Ola Fogel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Wester got free with Tomas Lundberg in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Olof Wester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peab Korpen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
