In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Väret's goalkeeper Jarl Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Väret's Jarl Martinsson got control of the ball when Göran Njurenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan-Olof Wester struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Andy Schmid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peab Korpen's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Schmid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
