The Drogges Fc fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Drogges Fc's Kennet Sillén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Drogges Fc's Rune Haström got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Kvidinge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Forsberg came free, but Vidar Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kennet Sillén during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Drogges Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Sillén to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Bokelund in the 30th minute of play forced Kvidinge IF's goalkeeper Vidar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kennet Sillén in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vidar Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tor Arvidsson lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Kenneth Abrahamsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, Drogges Fc's Hampus Lundström got control of the ball when Erik Ström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Håkan Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Håkan Forsberg came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Drogges Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Forsberg couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kennet Sillén to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Kvidinge IF got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Valrot. Kennet Sillén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidar Åberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven Lundgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. Kvidinge IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Håkan Forsberg scored to the left of an out of position Vidar Åberg, making the score, 0-5. In the 95th minute, Kvidinge IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Håkan Forsberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 96th minute, Kennet Sillén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kvidinge IF's zone, Håkan Forsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidar Åberg came out of the goal and Håkan Forsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Kvidinge IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Drogges Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
