Joar Hedberg charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joar Hedberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Kennet Siöman managed to get in a good position for a shot. CT United's supporters rose to their feet, but Kennet Siöman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Hybbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Axo99's Jonny Skoglund in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CT United's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Mikaelsson during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. André Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Patric Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny Skoglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Simon Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Axo99 booed when CT United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Melander didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jonny Skoglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Carlsson in the 24th minute of play. If Patric Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patric Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patric Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Simon Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Olof Hybbert was a little too slow when Kristian Wahlnäs got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 47th minute, Kristian Wahlnäs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonny Skoglund made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Skoglund in the 52nd minute of play forced CT United's goalkeeper Simon Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes of play CT United's André Mikaelsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 53rd match minute, CT United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Mikaelsson to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patric Carlsson got free with Simon Matsson in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Vassenius in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Hybbert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristian Wahlnäs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Olof Hybbert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Kristian Wahlnäs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonny Skoglund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Matsson having to make a save. Simon Matsson came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Axo99's Patric Carlsson. But to his dismay, Patric Carlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Kristian Wahlnäs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Hybbert having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Axo99's Jonny Skoglund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Matsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonny Skoglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Patric Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CT United's Simon Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Skoglund in the 92nd minute of play. If Kristian Wahlnäs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Axo99 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Axo99 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
