Alexander Spetz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristian Wahlnäs got free with Einar Holmberg in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrick Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Simon Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Matsson having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Kristian Wahlnäs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einar Holmberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Kristian Wahlnäs could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Einar Holmberg however easily saved by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Frändefors Boif:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CT United:s goal. The goalkeeper, Einar Holmberg, was totally fooled by CT United's Jan Brask, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 37th minute of the match Per-Olof Söderkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Matsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patrick Öberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Matsson having to make a save. CT United's Simon Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Valler in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kennet Siöman made a kick off. Simon Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Valler in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, CT United's goalkeeper Simon Matsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Öberg. After 63 minutes, Åke Öman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frändefors Boif and the CT United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Einar Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennet Siöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frändefors Boif's Einar Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Siöman in the 69th minute of play. Algot Alén was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, one of CT United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Andreas Björling shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Tomas Söderqvist hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. CT United's Kristian Wahlnäs got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Matsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arne Valler in the 87th minute. With his leg Simon Matsson managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Frändefors Boif's Patrick Öberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patrick Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Matsson having to interfere. Frändefors Boif's Patrick Öberg got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CT United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Frändefors Boif had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
