In the 26th minute, Henry Bjursell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jonny Skoglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lions FC's Egil Melander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Lions FC from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonny Skoglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Lions FC's Alf Skålberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Olof Hybbert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henry Bjursell kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Egil Melander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patric Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Nicklas Kinnman fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Axo99's protests and gave Nicklas Kinnman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Axo99's Nicklas Kinnman got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lions FC's Charlie Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alf Skålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Bengt Siggman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lions FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Charlie Petersson hit a great ball. The Lions FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Axo99 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
