The supporters of SWAG FC booed when Fristad BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fristad BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SWAG FC the free kick. Niklas Täman hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SWAG FC! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Nordstedt was the one to do the kick off. Olof Klack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Nordstedt's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Lars-Erik Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mattias Hasselqvist fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fristad BK's protests and gave Mattias Hasselqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sonny Sjödin during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Sonny Sjödin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fristad BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fristad BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
