The tension between the Hillared and the Assyriska FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 24 minutes into the game, one of Hillared:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute Svante Kjellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Nyqvist in the 35th minute of play forced Hillared's goalkeeper Sixten Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
