Nynäshamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Larsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Gunnarsson in the 8th minute of play. Fred Stolpe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erland Gunnarsson went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Bernt Bålström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Stolpe was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Fred Stolpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Nynäshamn booed when Real de Läjet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Hägert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Gunnarsson in the 36th minute of play. When Felix Åkerman came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Nynäshamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Åkerman couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Nynäshamn's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Gunnarsson came free, but Fred Stolpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Erland Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Stolpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Bergfelt to make the kick off. Erland Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fred Stolpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real de Läjet's Leif Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Åkerman in the 59th minute of play. Bernt Bålström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Bergfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Fagrell having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Elias Bergfelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Felix Åkerman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Nynäshamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Åkerman couldn't finish the play. After 73 played minutes Nynäshamn got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Mager. Elias Bergfelt scored 1-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leif Fagrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leif Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Åkerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Real de Läjet's zone, Felix Åkerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Fagrell came out of the goal and Felix Åkerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Nynäshamn booed when Real de Läjet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Kuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
