The audience was convinced that Daniel Johnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bror Qvarnström was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The supporters of Brandstorp IFK booed when CSKA Blodpudding was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Tim Strömqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bror Qvarnström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tim Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bror Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Daniel Johnsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bror Qvarnström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bror Qvarnström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Johnsson's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Falkrantz during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Tim Strömqvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Daniel Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CSKA Blodpudding's Bror Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Johnsson in the 45th minute of play. Matthias Offendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Håkansson in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Daniel Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. Stellan Majman kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Blodpudding's zone, Daniel Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bror Qvarnström came out of the goal and Daniel Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Qvarnström having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Daniel Johnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brandstorp IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Stellan Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Daniel Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Strömqvist in the 73rd minute of play forced CSKA Blodpudding's goalkeeper Bror Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Strömqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bror Qvarnström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 91 minutes into the match, Brandstorp IFK's Tim Strömqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bror Qvarnström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bror Qvarnström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Strömqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Tim Strömqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulf Falkrantz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Tim Strömqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brandstorp IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Strömqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bror Qvarnström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brandstorp IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
