Karl Vallander started the match with the kick off. Tobias Forssberg charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Forssberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brandstorp IFK's Tobias Forssberg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Brandstorp IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Garsnas:s goal. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, IFK Garsnas's Stig Wållander got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matthias Offendahl. Karl Vallander was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. IFK Garsnas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Ragnar Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Brandstorp IFK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hans Kristiansson hit a great ball. Daniel Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Sjögren having to interfere. Tim Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Rasmus Lund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Garsnas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brandstorp IFK the free kick. In the 27th minute, Rasmus Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Sjögren came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Brandstorp IFK's Tim Strömqvist. But to his dismay, Tim Strömqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Tim Strömqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Viktor Sjögren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Johnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Sjögren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Tim Strömqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Sjögren having to interfere. Tim Strömqvist struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Viktor Sjögren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brandstorp IFK. When Daniel Johnsson got free in front of the goal in the 40th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Viktor Sjögren was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, IFK Garsnas's Torgny Hellström got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Strömqvist in the 44th minute of play forced IFK Garsnas's goalkeeper Viktor Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Johnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Matthias Offendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Vallander in the 53rd minute of play. IFK Garsnas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Daniel Johnsson scored to the left of an out of position Viktor Sjögren, making the score, 1-3. 60 minutes into the match, IFK Garsnas's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Johnsson came free, but Viktor Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torgny Hellström during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Torgny Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes, Brandstorp IFK's Algot Lööf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viktor Sjögren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brandstorp IFK reached it. 68 minutes into the match, Brandstorp IFK's Daniel Johnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Sjögren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Sakarias Ekberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandstorp IFK and the IFK Garsnas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tim Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Viktor Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ragnar Hedling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthias Offendahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. A hard shot 81 in the game by Tim Strömqvist from a close distance when the talented Viktor Sjögren managed to make a qualified save. IFK Garsnas's players were relieved. Daniel Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. IFK Garsnas's Ragnar Hedling got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Tim Strömqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brandstorp IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Strömqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Sjögren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The IFK Garsnas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brandstorp IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
