Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st match minute, Brandstorp IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Cane to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Edmund Mellbad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knubbevikens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Mellbad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Knubbevikens BK's Örjan Eskilsson got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Mellbad in the 32nd minute of play forced Brandstorp IFK's goalkeeper Matthias Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Rune Säv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knubbevikens BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brandstorp IFK the free kick. Rune Säv hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Algot Lööf was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Peter Påk came out of the goal and Daniel Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Knubbevikens BK's Peter Påk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Johnsson in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Peter Påk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Strömqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
