With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bror Qvarnström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, CSKA Blodpudding's August Nyström got a free kick in the 19th minute. Börge Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Majman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Ulf Falkrantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åmmeberg BK's Börge Eklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Åmmeberg BK from getting a goal against them. Ingvar Vidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Qvarnström having to interfere. CSKA Blodpudding's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Harry Esbjörnsson scored to the left of an out of position Bror Qvarnström, making the score, 0-2. 59 minutes into the match, Åmmeberg BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Samuelsson came free, but Börge Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stellan Majman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Börge Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Joakim Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ingvar Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Esbjörnssons short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Bror Qvarnström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bror Qvarnström was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Ingvar Vidman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ingvar Vidman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With his leg Bror Qvarnström managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Åmmeberg BK's Harry Esbjörnsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for CSKA Blodpudding. Helge Juhlin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Börge Eklund. 1-3. After 84 played minutes Åmmeberg BK got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Wall. 90 minutes into the match, CSKA Blodpudding's goalkeeper Bror Qvarnström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Esbjörnsson. 96 minutes into the match, Åmmeberg BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Samuelsson came free, but Börge Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Åmmeberg BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
