When Isak Melberg fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fengersfors FK's protests and gave Isak Melberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Fengersfors FK got a freekick which was hit by Isak Melberg. After 4 minutes of play Fengersfors FK's Isak Melberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Fengersfors FK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Isak Melberg hit a great ball. Mikael Klintæus, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Jonas Arenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Torsberg in the 13th minute of play forced Fengersfors FK's goalkeeper Karl Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Karl-Oskar Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fengersfors FK's Gottfrid Erserman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Torbjörn Qvalfeldt but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Arenius got free with Torbjörn Qvalfeldt in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Arenius struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Torbjörn Qvalfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fengersfors FK. Koppom's Erland Torsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jonas Arenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaj Eckegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torbjörn Qvalfeldt having to make a save. Calle Strömbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Albohm having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fengersfors FK's Kaj Eckegren got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience was convinced that Erland Torsberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Albohm was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Calle Strömbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erland Torsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaj Eckegren charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaj Eckegren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kaj Eckegren hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Arenius to make the kick off. Kaj Eckegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Qvalfeldt having to interfere. A collision led to Fengersfors FK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. David Caspersson hit a great ball. When Calle Strömbom came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Koppom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Strömbom couldn't finish the play. Kaj Eckegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Jonas Arenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fengersfors FK's Karl Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Strömbom in the 75th minute of play. If Jonas Arenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Arenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Koppom's zone, Jonas Arenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Jonas Arenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
