Eric Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Allan Alströmmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Edström in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Elliot Karlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cranz Montana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fail IF the free kick. If Sven Bjurström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cranz Montana FC getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Torbjörn Söderberg hit a great ball. 50 minutes into the match, Fail IF's Henrik Lundqvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Edström was the one to do the kick off. Allan Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Edström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Biörkman in the 95th minute of play forced Cranz Montana FC's goalkeeper Allan Alströmmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
