Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 110) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ove Bergström got the match started through his kick off. Patrik Ahlström hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Patrik Ahlström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Patrik Ahlström took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Alebäck. Björn Alebäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Lukas Fridlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Wall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Koppom FF got a freekick which was hit by Georg Karlstedt. In the 22nd minute, Henrik Lundqvist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Koppom FF's Lukas Fridlund didn't even have to move. Lukas Fridlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Edström, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Patrik Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Alebäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Bergström in the 34th minute of the match. Patrik Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Patrik Ahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koppom FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Ahlström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fail IF's Björn Alebäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Bergström in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Fail IF's Björn Alebäck got control of the ball when Patrik Ahlström tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kim Lindberg fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koppom FF's protests and gave Kim Lindberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Koppom FF got a freekick which was hit by Kim Lindberg. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Edström made a kick off. Dennis Wall hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Lukas Fridlund acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lars Rosen. Mikael Offendahl's late challenge caught a Koppom FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Offendahl helped the player get up and apologised. Mikael Offendahl hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Agne Classon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Edström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Fail IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Björn Alebäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Ahlström in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Koppom FF's Ove Bergström got a free kick in the 78th minute. Patrik Ahlström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Björn Alebäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Edström struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lukas Fridlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fail IF. With a little luck, Koppom FF's Lukas Fridlund got control of the ball when Yngve Biörkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Koppom FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fail IF for a fine match.
