Ove Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Orvar Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Diö getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Walter Ahlrot hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Bror Drake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute of the match, Ove Jakobsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orvar Bergström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wilhelm Melin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bror Drake got free with Orvar Bergström in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Kattarp's Wilhelm Melin got a free kick in the 30th minute. Bror Drake recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kattarp's Orvar Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Jakobsson in the 35th minute of play. Marcus Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Palmquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Villiam Palmquist was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Diö's Bror Drake made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Bergström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ove Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Orvar Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Kattarp got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Brummer. If Bror Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Palmquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Diö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bror Drake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bergström having to interfere. Bernt Ahlbeck charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Ahlbeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Diö's Bernt Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Diö's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
