Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ove Jakobsson kicked off to start the match. Marcus Edström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Håning in the 5th minute of play. Jörgen Ahlin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Marcus Edström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Genarp. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Ahlin got free with Marcus Edström in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Ahlin got free with Marcus Edström in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mark Håning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Ahlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Marcus Edström made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Genarp's Mark Håning sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Edström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Diö's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Håning came free, but Marcus Edström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Mark Håning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genarp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Håning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diö's Marcus Edström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Håning in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Diö's goalkeeper Marcus Edström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Ahlin. If Mark Håning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Rune Mossberg during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcus Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Ahlin in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Edström saved Diö from getting behind. Isaac Grep was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Ove Jakobsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ove Jakobsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Diö were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Genarp's much stronger midfield.
