Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Robert Springfält started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bror Drake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Diö booed when Minnesberg IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Diö's Bror Drake made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ove Arhenius was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Diö's zone, Robert Springfält stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Edström came out of the goal and Robert Springfält tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 minutes of play, Minnesberg IF's Tobias Lindell made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Edström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tobias Lindell might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Edström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Lindell ran back to his position shaking his head. After 26 minutes Diö's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nils Kock who took care of the corner kick. Robert Springfält who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Marcus Edström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Diö's goalkeeper Marcus Edström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Lindell. In the 32nd minute, Tobias Lindell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minnesberg IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 36 played minutes Minnesberg IF got a freekick which was hit by Nils Kock. Ove Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ove Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Lindell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ove Jakobsson was the one to do the kick off. Diö's Ove Jakobsson got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Lindell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Edström having to interfere. Sven-Ove Lund's late challenge caught a Diö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Ove Lund helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Minnesberg IF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Lund. After a rather tough play, Minnesberg IF's Joachim Odin got a free kick in the 60th minute. Robert Springfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Edström having to interfere. Marcus Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Lindell, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ove Arhenius didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Tobias Lindell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcus Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Robert Springfält managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minnesberg IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Springfält was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Edström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Minnesberg IF's Robert Springfält got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Josef Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Diö got a freekick which was hit by Ove Jakobsson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Lindell in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Edström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ove Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Jakobsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Minnesberg IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
