If Viktor Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Hegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, Diö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Ahlbeck to maneuver through the defense. Diö's Marcus Edström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Eklund in the 45th minute of play. Viktor Hegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marcus Edström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Viktor Hegg came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the ATFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Hegg couldn't finish the play. Marcus Edström made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ingvar Eklund sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Hegg in the 73rd minute of the match. Diö's Ove Jakobsson got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
