In the 11thth minute of the game Bror Drake who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Målspottarnas UK's Joel Smefeldt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bror Drake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Joel Smefeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tobias Eckegren came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Målspottarnas UK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Eckegren couldn't finish the play. If Bror Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Målspottarnas UK's Marcus Edström threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christer Andersson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 45 minutes into the game, Bror Drake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Målspottarnas UK the free kick. After 45 played minutes Diö got a freekick which was hit by Bror Drake. Algot Hökkvist hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

A collision led to Målspottarnas UK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Christer Andersson hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Diö's Ove Jakobsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Smefeldt. Joel Smefeldt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Målspottarnas UK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Ove Jakobsson scored to the left of an out of position Joel Smefeldt, making the score, 0-2. If Ove Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Målspottarnas UK's Joel Smefeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Målspottarnas UK from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Tobias Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Edström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bror Drake got free with Joel Smefeldt in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Edström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Eckegren in the 81st minute of play. After 89 played minutes Målspottarnas UK got a freekick which was hit by Einar Uter. Ove Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Smefeldt having to interfere.
