Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Patric Bergkvist made the kick off which started today's match. Jan Ahlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Bergkvist in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sivert Hedin in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Ahlstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th match minute, Tråvad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Svensson to maneuver through the defense. Jan Ahlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Patric Bergkvist took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Ahlstedt. Jan Ahlstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Osby's Michel Nordin got control of the ball when Nils-Emil Wallman tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Wästerberg in the 24th minute of play forced Osby's goalkeeper Michel Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Ahlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sivert Hedin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tråvad getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sven-Erik Bammerman hit a great ball. Sivert Hedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Ahlstedt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Wästerberg in the 34th minute of play forced Osby's goalkeeper Michel Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Lund charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Lund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Sonny Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Karl-Erik Söderqwist fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Osby's protests and gave Karl-Erik Söderqwist a yellow card for diving instead. The Tråvad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Osby were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sonny Wästerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Patric Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th match minute, Osby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Lund to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Emil Wallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Nordin having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Sivert Hedin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Osby's Alexander Hamberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Emanuel Strömberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Nordin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Osby getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Karl-Erik Söderqwist hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Sonny Wästerberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Nordin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Sven-Erik Bammerman fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tråvad's protests and gave Sven-Erik Bammerman a yellow card for diving instead. Sivert Hedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Ahlstedt having to interfere. When Osby's Patric Bergkvist in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tråvad's goalie prevented a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
