Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Alnö BK's goalkeeper Håkan Hjelm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andréas Stenberg. After a defensive mix-up in Alnö BK's zone, Henry Harlén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Hjelm came out of the goal and Henry Harlén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Olof Löfdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Olof Löfdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Harlén in the 42nd minute of play forced Alnö BK's goalkeeper Håkan Hjelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 44 in the game by Andréas Stenberg from a close distance when the talented Håkan Hjelm managed to make a qualified save. Alnö BK's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Stenberg got free with Håkan Hjelm in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Kivik IK's Fabian Kruse got a free kick in the 61st minute. Henry Harlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Erik Danielsson was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Alnö BK's Jens-Erik Danielsson got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kivik IK's zone, Albin Alegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Ahlroht came out of the goal and Albin Alegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Verner Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andréas Stenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Håkan Hjelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Kivik IK were victorious despite being under pressure from Alnö BK for much of the match.
