The supporters of BK Kävlinge booed when Alnö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Alegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Hjelm acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jens-Ove Askelöf. After 20 played minutes BK Kävlinge got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Ahlström. Alvar Felin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Löfdahl in the 24th minute of play. Valdemar Lindqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Håkan Hjelm made a huge save. A collision led to Alnö BK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Verner Bergström hit a great ball. When Olof Löfdahl came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Alnö BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Löfdahl couldn't finish the play. Alvar Felin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alfred Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Hjelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Ahlström in the 48th minute of play forced Alnö BK's goalkeeper Håkan Hjelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Leo Trulsson's late challenge caught a Alnö BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Trulsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, BK Kävlinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Trulsson to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Alvar Felin managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Alnö BK's Olof Löfdahl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valdemar Lindqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Håkan Hjelm having to make a save. In the 56th match minute, Alnö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Thidén to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Jonas Ahlström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Valdemar Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Hjelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Ahlström in the 63rd minute of play. Valdemar Lindqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Hjelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Jonas Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Linus Ahlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Alnö BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Kävlinge:s goal. 83 minutes into the game, Olof Löfdahl lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Alvar Felin. After 89 played minutes BK Kävlinge got a freekick which was hit by Martin Hegg. Jonas Ahlström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Hjelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Alnö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Lindqvist came free, but Håkan Hjelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alnö BK getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Jens-Erik Danielsson hit a great ball. There was no doubt that BK Kävlinge were the better team. BK Kävlinge's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
