Olof Löfdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jens Åhman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Åhman made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Verner Bergström sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd play minute Verner Bergström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jens Åhman. 1-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Verner Bergström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alnö BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Bergström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens Åhman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Löfdahl in the 40th minute of the match. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jens Åhman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olof Löfdahl's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Alnö BK's Håkan Hjelm got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Nässén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Verner Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Åhman having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Alnö BK's Olof Löfdahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens Åhman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grums BF's goalkeeper Jens Åhman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Verner Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Olof Löfdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Åhman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Hjelm made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Sven-Oskar Nässén sent off a good shot on target.
