A wasted opportunity for Veddige FF. 14 minutes into the match, Veddige FF's Paul Godholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håkan Hjelm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin Hagberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Löfdahl in the 19th minute of the match. Veddige FF's Benjamin Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Löfdahl in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Olof Löfdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Hagberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Sigvard Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Karl-Michael Telin came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Veddige FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Telin couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Bergström got free with Benjamin Hagberg in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Hagberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Verner Bergström in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Veddige FF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Telin. In the 65th minute of the match Holger Lindqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Hagberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Olof Löfdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Danielsson in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Hjelm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75thth minute of the game Sigvard Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alnö BK's Håkan Hjelm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
