Stig-Åke Wästerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ronny Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Rikard Larsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When FC Trends's Rikard Larsson in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forsa FF's goalie prevented a goal. Stig-Åke Wästerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Söderberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Rikard Larsson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronny Söderberg. If Sven-Olof Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Kjellkvist in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Rolfsson saved FC Trends from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Benjamin Nordgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Trends's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forsa FF the free kick. Roger Ekelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Forsa FF's Roger Ekelund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Rolfsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Forsa FF's zone, Stig-Åke Wästerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Söderberg came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Wästerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Roger Ekelund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forsa FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Ekelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Trends were furious when Robin Nyström was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fredric Beckman walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 43rd minute, Pål Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Forsa FF booed when FC Trends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game Fredric Beckman kicked a great long shot which passed Vincent Rolfsson straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-1. One couldn't see Fredric Beckman behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Rikard Larsson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Roger Ekelund came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Forsa FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Ekelund couldn't finish the play. Stig-Åke Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Söderberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Kjellkvist in the 58th minute of play forced FC Trends's goalkeeper Vincent Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvard Brask hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Stig-Åke Wästerberg struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ronny Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Trends. Ronny Söderberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pål Benet in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Sven-Olof Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsa FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Kjellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Rolfsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Roger Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Roger Ekelund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forsa FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Stig-Åke Wästerberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ronny Söderberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sven-Olof Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Rolfsson having to interfere. FC Trends's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
