Spectators: 7166 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ingvar Åkesson got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ingvar Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Härnösand's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Trulsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Bo Odman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Trulsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mats Trulsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Åkesson's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Odman in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mats Trulsson saved Vassmolösa from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Ingvar Åkesson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vassmolösa's Mats Trulsson. Mats Trulsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mats Trulsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Åkesson in the 19th minute of play. Bo Odman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Trulsson having to interfere. Vassmolösa's Karl Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Vassmolösa's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Odman came free, but Mats Trulsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Härnösand getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ove Hansson hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Ingvar Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Härnösand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Åkesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vassmolösa's Mats Trulsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Åkesson in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Härnösand were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Arne Fågel to strike the kick off in the second half. Härnösand's Ove Hansson got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Ove Hansson off the ground. After a rather tough play, Härnösand's Ove Hansson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Bo Odman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Trulsson having to interfere. Bo Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vassmolösa getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Stig-Arne Fågel hit a great ball. With a little luck, Vassmolösa's Mats Trulsson got control of the ball when Alvar Sjögren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bo Odman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Mats Trulsson made a huge save. Vassmolösa's Mats Trulsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Vassmolösa from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Vassmolösa's Mats Trulsson got control of the ball when Bo Odman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes in the game, Bo Odman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mats Trulsson having to interfere. Bo Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Odman got free with Mats Trulsson in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bo Odman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvar Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bo Odman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mats Trulsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Bo Odman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Härnösand left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vassmolösa.
