Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Esbjörn Lundgren started the match with the kick off. Daniel Harman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. David Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Kinell's late challenge caught a Mariannelund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Kinell helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Stenkullen IFK got a freekick which was hit by Michael Kinell. Valter Nyberg, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kurt Vestberg took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Holmberg. David Holmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Daniel Harman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stenkullen IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Kurt Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Hagström got free with Ove Hellström in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Esbjörn Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Esbjörn Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariannelund's supporters rose to their feet, but Esbjörn Lundgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Harman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Holmberg having to make a save. Ove Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esbjörn Lundgren in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Vestberg in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Holmberg saved Mariannelund from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Harman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ove Hellström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esbjörn Lundgren's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Hannes Hagström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hellström having to interfere. Hannes Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Hellström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esbjörn Lundgren went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. David Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Harman in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Kurt Vestberg put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of David Holmberg. A collision led to Stenkullen IFK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Allan Danielsson hit a great ball. The Mariannelund supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stenkullen IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Stenkullen IFK.
