Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kurt Vestberg got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Karl-Erik Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mörsil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Erik Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 played minutes Mörsil got a freekick which was hit by Michael Odeen. After recieving a nice pass, Stenkullen IFK's Allan Danielsson tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Birger Hagberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Vestberg in the 9th minute of the match. Stenkullen IFK's Tim Soned got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Odeen might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Hellström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Odeen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Tim Soned left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stenkullen IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 20 played minutes Mörsil got a freekick which was hit by Rune Damm. In the 21st minute of the match Allan Danielsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birger Hagberg skillfully saved the ball. Tim Soned sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Soned blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Hagberg having to make a save. Kurt Vestberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Michael Odeen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mörsil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stenkullen IFK the free kick. Michael Odeen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Kurt Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Soned in the 37th minute of play forced Mörsil's goalkeeper Birger Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Damm hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mörsil's zone, Tim Soned stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birger Hagberg came out of the goal and Tim Soned tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Vestberg in the 40th minute of play forced Mörsil's goalkeeper Birger Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kurt Vestberg came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Stenkullen IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Vestberg couldn't finish the play. Birger Hagberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Soned in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Odeen was the one to do the kick off. Kurt Vestberg charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurt Vestberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Stenkullen IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Vestberg to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Vestberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Kurt Vestberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Mörsil's Birger Hagberg got control of the ball when Tim Soned tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mörsil's Birger Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Vestberg in the 64th minute of play. Tim Soneds short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Birger Hagberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68th minute, Allan Danielsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mörsil's Birger Hagberg didn't even have to move. Stenkullen IFK's Tim Soned got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kurt Vestberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mörsil's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kurt Vestberg 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Vestberg in the 79th minute of play forced Mörsil's goalkeeper Birger Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Hagberg having to interfere. If Kurt Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mörsil getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rune Damm hit a great ball. Kurt Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Hagberg having to interfere. Tim Soned sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
