Jan-Åke Bagge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Olof Albäck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kurt Vestberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stenkullen IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Vestberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Albäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Mats Allbom. In the 26th match minute, Stenkullen IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Lagerberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Christian Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Vestberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Olof Albäck could save by the left post. Arvin Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ove Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustav Ahlrot charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustav Ahlrot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurt Vestberg in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Olof Albäck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Joseph Källberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 48 minutes had been played. A collision led to Stenkullen IFK getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Joseph Källberg hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Christian Colin made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Bengt-Rune Karlstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Åke Bagge ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Nyberg. Bengt-Rune Karlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Albäck having to interfere. Gustav Ahlrot kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Sven-Olof Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Karlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Although Stenkullen IFK had been in control for most of the match, Manchester City still came away with the win.
