One of Träslövsläge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lesjöfors:s goal. Träslövsläge:s Magne Siöman showed great skill when he stopped Kjell Snäll:s penalty. Kjell Snäll took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magne Siöman. Magne Siöman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alvin Brander charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvin Brander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvin Brander kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Matthias Gadd took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Esbjörn Vibjörnsson. Lesjöfors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bengt-Åke Fridlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esbjörn Vibjörnsson having to make a save. Petter Kock got in the 32nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Magne Siöman handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Roland Björck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Åke Fridlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esbjörn Vibjörnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. John Ekegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Esbjörn Vibjörnsson made a huge save. Harald Wennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Åke Fridlund was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When John Ekegren came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Träslövsläge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Ekegren couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Åke Fridlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. John Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Träslövsläge's Magne Siöman got control of the ball when Petter Kock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harald Wennersten's late challenge caught a Lesjöfors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Wennersten helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt-Åke Fridlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Vibjörnsson having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Fridlund struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Esbjörn Vibjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Träslövsläge. Bengt-Åke Fridlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esbjörn Vibjörnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Åke Fridlund ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Harald Wennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Träslövsläge's supporters rose to their feet, but Harald Wennersten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esbjörn Vibjörnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th match minute, Lesjöfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Björck to maneuver through the defense. If Christer Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lesjöfors booed when Träslövsläge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Wennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball.
