The audience was convinced that Magne Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Vibjörnsson was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Frans Sandwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Sandberg in the 26th minute of play forced Lesjöfors's goalkeeper Esbjörn Vibjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frans Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Vibjörnsson having to interfere. Esbjörn Vibjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magne Sandberg in the 29th minute of the match. Roland Björck's late challenge caught a Stocksund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Björck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stocksund booed when Lesjöfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Björck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lesjöfors's Esbjörn Vibjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magne Sandberg in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frans Sandwall in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Vibjörnsson saved Lesjöfors from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Lesjöfors's zone, Frans Sandwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Vibjörnsson came out of the goal and Frans Sandwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Frans Sandwall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stocksund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frans Sandwall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magne Sandberg scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esbjörn Vibjörnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Forsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frans Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esbjörn Vibjörnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magne Sandberg went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Magne Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Björck hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Magne Sandbergs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Esbjörn Vibjörnsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Andréas Abrahamsson fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lesjöfors's protests and gave Andréas Abrahamsson a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Lesjöfors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stocksund:s goal. Rolf Håkansson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Petter Kock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Ludvig Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Stocksund left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lesjöfors.
