Fagervik were furious when Jack Bengtsson was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Ekström in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zebastian Busk saved Fagervik from getting behind. Mattias Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Busk having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Mattias Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grödinge BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Ekström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebastian Busk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grödinge BK's Mattias Ekström managed to work through Fagervik's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. If Aron Apelkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
