Tomas Jönsson charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Jönsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Hornmyr BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Skivarp IK's Karl-Axel Barck got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hubert Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jon Igelström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Skivarp IK defense, Kjell Lind kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Larsfelt. The Skivarp IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Larsfelt should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egon Håning during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jon Igelström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Magnusson in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hornmyr BF's Rasmus Walroth got a free kick in the 44th minute. Hubert Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jon Igelström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Karl-Axel Barck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skivarp IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Barck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Axel Barck to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Jesper Andreasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skivarp IK and the Hornmyr BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skivarp IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Hornmyr BF. Inge Harman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valdemar Larsfelt. 2-1. Samuel Vacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. After 82 played minutes Skivarp IK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Axel Barck. Jon Igelström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hubert Magnusson in the 85th minute. Kjell Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Larsfelt having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hornmyr BF had won after a very even match.
