Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Peter Ekerot made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute of the match Pål Lund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Erik Alströmmer skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gnarp's zone, Hans Westerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Erik Alströmmer came out of the goal and Hans Westerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Alnö's Olof Jansson got a free kick in the 10th minute. Olof Jansson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When Peter Ekerot came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Gnarp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Ekerot couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the game, Olof Jansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alnö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gnarp the free kick. If Peter Ekerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olof Jansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Erik Alströmmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alnö's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Malte Thidén was slow to take the kick. During this time Gnarp's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 34 minutes, Hans Westerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alnö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Westerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Erik Alströmmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Westerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 38 played minutes Gnarp got a freekick which was hit by Simon Groth. After 39 played minutes, Alnö's Andreas Utter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven-Erik Alströmmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alnö reached it. Sven-Erik Alströmmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ola Lundin in the 43rd minute of the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Westerberg was the one to do the kick off. When Kevin Möller came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Gnarp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Möller couldn't finish the play. Hans Westerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Alströmmer having to interfere. Hans Westerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Jerry Ahlbeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alnö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gnarp the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, Alnö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Ahlbeck to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Möller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ingmar Vidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gnarp's Sven-Erik Alströmmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Gnarp from getting a goal against them. Jens-Ola Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Erik Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Westerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play Alnö's Olof Jansson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Olof Jansson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jens-Ola Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Alströmmer having to interfere.
