In the 14th minute Pelle Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Helberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Bern to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Södertälje FF booed when Liverpool HellHounds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Vestlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Södertälje FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Liverpool HellHounds.
