Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niklas Melander started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Tingberg in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torgny Karlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to prestens ostar getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Torsten Bergendahl hit a great ball. In the 6th minute Sebastian Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, AIK's Sebastian Tingberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torgny Karlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Claes Kullander's late challenge caught a AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Kullander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Claes Kullander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claes Kullander hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Ove Backman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. prestens ostar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIK the free kick. In the 23rd minute Claes Kullander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Botvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Kullander hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Roger Utfal took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredric Botvidsson. Fredric Botvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Västerstrand in the 31st minute of play forced prestens ostar's goalkeeper Torgny Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Ralf Alefors fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 35 minutes into the match, AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Nilsson came free, but Fredric Botvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredric Botvidsson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by prestens ostar's Filip Nilsson. But to his dismay, Filip Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some careless play in the AIK defense, Claes Kullander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredric Botvidsson. The AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredric Botvidsson should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Kullander came free, but Fredric Botvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AIK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. prestens ostar were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Tingberg to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, AIK's Sebastian Tingberg made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torgny Karlsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claes Kullander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Fredric Botvidsson made a huge save. Sebastian Tingberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torgny Karlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Torgny Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Tingberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Sebastian Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
