The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niclas Ekenberg during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Billesholm's Niclas Ekenberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Hugo Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Peter Ahlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Evert Rönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Billesholm's Peter Ahlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Rönn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 24th minute, Holmsveden's Dennis Hedlund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. With a little luck, Billesholm's Hugo Söder got control of the ball when Andréas Widberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Bengt Barck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evert Rönn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 32 played minutes Holmsveden got a freekick which was hit by Hans Koch. In the 36th minute, Johannes Strandberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evert Rönn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Holmsveden's Andréas Widberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Hedlund came free, but Hugo Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dennis Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Hedlund was the one to do the kick off. When Martin Olofsson fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billesholm's protests and gave Martin Olofsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Martin Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Roger Engström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Billesholm's Hugo Söder didn't even have to move. 93 minutes in the game, Peter Ahlin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Evert Rönn having to interfere. Holmsveden were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Billesholm for a fine match.
