Thanks to some nice moves Ulf Blomqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Kurt Göransson however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 5 minutes, Inge Brovall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfesta FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Brovall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Göransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Henriksson went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Gustav Mogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Kilstedt was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Brovall in the 33rd minute of play forced Ätrans FF's goalkeeper Tor Kilstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Patrick Uggstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor Kilstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Brovall in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Alfesta FF's Inge Brovall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Kilstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 47th match minute, Ätrans FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Malm to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ätrans FF's Tor Kilstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Brovall in the 56th minute of play. Ätrans FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Inge Brovall 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. If Sven Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Ätrans FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Malm to maneuver through the defense. Inge Brovall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Mogren got free with Tor Kilstedt in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulf Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Brian Bohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 77 minutes, Sven Tomasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alfesta FF and the Ätrans FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 77 minutes into the match, Ätrans FF's Rasmus Gregersson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lucas Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ätrans FF's Brian Bohlin got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Alfesta FF's Sören Hagberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Ätrans FF's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Brovall came free, but Tor Kilstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ätrans FF's Lucas Henriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sören Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Ätrans FF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alfesta FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Alfesta FF.
