Spectators: 7167 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Richard Ahlroht kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Per Sikström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Haeger during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alfesta FF getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Philip Haeger hit a great ball. Richard Ahlroht struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Kurt Göransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långaryd BF. Kurt Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Sikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Richard Ahlroht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långaryd BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Ahlroht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per Sikström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Martin Ekberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfesta FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Långaryd BF the free kick. Jimmy Beckström walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Birger Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Brovall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Ahlroht blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kurt Göransson having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Långaryd BF's Elliott Lundkvist got a free kick in the 24th minute. Inge Brovall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Birger Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Uggstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Alfesta FF's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Ahlroht came free, but Kurt Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Långaryd BF's Per Sikström, in the 35th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Långaryd BF. The audience was convinced that Richard Ahlroht's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Göransson was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Ahlroht in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurt Göransson saved Alfesta FF from getting behind. Per Sikström might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Göransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Sikström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45thth minute of the game Richard Ahlroht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfesta FF's Kurt Göransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustav Mogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Grep having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inge Brovall was the one to do the kick off. The audience held their breath when Sören Hagberg in the 54th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Birger Grep's left hand side. Långaryd BF's Richard Ahlroht got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per Sikström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurt Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Ahlroht, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Långaryd BF's Herbert Axelsson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Kurt Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Ahlroht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 77 minutes, Per Sikström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långaryd BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Sikström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gustav Mogren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfesta FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Mogren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Grep breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per Sikström in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kurt Göransson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 91st play minutes Richard Ahlroht shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Kurt Göransson and just under the crossbar into goal. Långaryd BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
