Elliot Hultman made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Lars Malm sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Dr.Pepper FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Henriksson came free, but Elliot Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Kilstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstanty Biegun in the 25th minute of the match. Daniel Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Kilstedt having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Konstanty Biegun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Daniel Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Kilstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ätrans FF's goalkeeper Tor Kilstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zebastian Biörkman during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Konieczny to strike the kick off in the second half. Dr.Pepper FC's Andréas Alberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ätrans FF. Konstanty Biegun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Kilstedt having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ätrans FF's Rasmus Gregersson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Andréas Alberg sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tor Kilstedt threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Andréas Alberg this time. In the 88th minute of the match, Konstanty Biegun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tor Kilstedt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tor Kilstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Konieczny in the 89th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dr.Pepper FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
