Pauliström IFK's Gustav Kiempe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Forssberg in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Joakim Ekman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustav Kiempe. Pauliström IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joakim Ekman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fågelfors's Ingvar Blomquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Fågelfors from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Pauliström IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Ånger to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Joakim Ekman put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gustav Kiempe. John Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Kiempe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Ekman in the 46th minute of play forced Pauliström IFK's goalkeeper Gustav Kiempe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Fågelfors were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joakim Ekman made a kick off. Gustav Kiempe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joakim Ekman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 53 minute of play. With his leg Gustav Kiempe managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Fågelfors's Joakim Ekman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Pauliström IFK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Oscar Haegg hit a great ball. Gustav Kiempe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Viggo Frisk. Per-Erik Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The nice shot from Joakim Ekman in the 76thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gustav Kiempe had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Joakim Ekman struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gustav Kiempe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fågelfors. Ingvar Blomquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Åkesson in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Pauliström IFK's goalkeeper Gustav Kiempe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Ekman. In the 88th minute, Hans Åkesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pauliström IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5.
