Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Malcolm Hernström started the match with the kick off. Evert Nyman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Bäckström having to make a save. If Pontus Klint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Klint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Hernström in the 8th minute of play. Evert Nyman came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henry Bäckström could save by the left post. In the 12th minute Lars-Erik Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes F.C. Fågelboet got a freekick which was hit by Verner Persson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Klint in the 16th minute of play forced Ztah FC's goalkeeper Henry Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joacim Lundgren hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Pontus Klint came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the F.C. Fågelboet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Klint couldn't finish the play. Viggo Wallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Pontus Klint's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Klint in the 40th minute of play forced Ztah FC's goalkeeper Henry Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Pontus Klint made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Evert Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Bäckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evert Nyman's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Pontus Klint might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Bäckström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pontus Klint ran back to his position shaking his head. F.C. Fågelboet's Evert Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, F.C. Fågelboet's Pontus Klint nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Richard Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Hernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ralf Brummer's late challenge caught a F.C. Fågelboet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Brummer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of F.C. Fågelboet booed when Ztah FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Brummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, F.C. Fågelboet's Magne Malmström tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Verner Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Verner Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ztah FC booed when F.C. Fågelboet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Fågelboet's zone, Lars-Erik Apelkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Fransson came out of the goal and Lars-Erik Apelkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When F.C. Fågelboet's Pontus Klint in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ztah FC's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C. Fågelboet had played much better football throughout.
