Tived IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Täby IFK the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Tived IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Mager to maneuver through the defense. Christer Tillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Andréas Ersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, Tived IFK's Edwin Jakobsson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esbjörn Öman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andréas Ersman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Täby IFK. Roland Igelström charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Igelström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tived IFK booed when Täby IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Igelström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Tillman struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Andréas Ersman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Täby IFK. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Christer Tillman made the kick off in the second half. Esbjörn Öman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Hallgren in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tived IFK's zone, Christian Rosin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andréas Ersman came out of the goal and Christian Rosin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Christian Rosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tived IFK's Andréas Ersman got control of the ball when Christian Rosin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robin Glad hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Jonny Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Tived IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonny Magnusson couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Edwin Jakobsson made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Öman. Täby IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
